Just told my mum..... need your advice!

how many weeks are you? my grandparents tried to get me to get a termination until I was 24 weeks, which frankly disgusted me. but my mom was a lot more supportive afterI had a belly showing and she saw her granddaughter on the scan. Be upfront and firm with them. Do not waver at all in your resolve. If you want to keep your baby be super loud about it! Buy onesies! she will warm up to it, and once your baby is born she'll be insta-grandma. I'm 19 as well, 20 in October right before my daughter is born. I have lost a lot of family members love over keeping my daughter but it doesn't even matter to me. I would suggest making a budget, figuring everything out. It's really not that hard to live on your own, as long as one person at least has a full time, dependable job that pays decent. It's doable but not lavish, of course. How long have you been with your boyfriend?

I was 20 when I found out I was pregnant, my parents were shocked and I later found out they were apparently devestated but it though they didnt tell me this at the time!! I hadnt been with my OH long and had just moved in his house the week before (he was 28).

My mum said it took them a long time to get over the shock and disapointment but says that having Phoebe changed their lives and she is the light of their lives.

Im sure your mum will come round, ultimately it is your decision and you sound like you are in a good place with you both working and looking for a nice place to live. I'm sure you will be fine xx
