Well, for those of you who wanted to hear my birth story, I am going to post it up soon!
but Tegan is 11 days old. I've had such bad anxiety about SIDS.. everyone assures me it's normal to be freaked out but I have been freaking out about it so bad that the first few nights we were at home, I didn't sleep at all.. I did my own research on SIDS and found that it's extremely rare, happens more in boys than girls, happens the most between 1-4 months, and only 2 in every 1000 babies will die of it, which sort of put my mind at ease.. i guess?
To top it off, my friend Alex lost her baby at 32 weeks pregnant.
its been a rough week for me. Our babies were supposed to play together and grow up together and I felt really guilty when I went to visit her at the hospital and they were asking me about Tegan. I know I shouldn't feel bad about having my baby but I feel awkward around her now that I have a baby and she just lost hers.. I am just so thankful that Tegan is alive and here with me. I pray to God every day and I thank him for letting me have Tegan. I feel blessed to be her mom. She's just so beautiful and wonderful. i can't wait to watch her grow up.
