£450!!!

iv not even bought it all yet either, and OH is gunna go apeshit if he finds out, to be honest though it doesnt look that much at all when you see it out so hopefully if i hide the reciepts he wont ask! :dohh:

has anyone else overspent like me haha x

I am stopping myself from working it out as i know OH will not be a happy OH!
i not finished either! xx

if he asks im gunna say like iv bought him alot of clothes which i would have bought anyway and stuff for his bedroom what i wouldve bought anyway so not that bad haha :haha: x

Its the opposite in this house, my oh doesnt care how much we spend on the kids, its always me telling him "no more presents"

mines a spoilsport he always says hes got enough, (to be fair he does have quite alot of toys) but i just think hes my baby i want to spoil him, why cant i !

I secretly love spoiling them too and we ALWAYS go over budget. I've spent well over £400 on callum, over £400 on nicole and over £200 on charlie and still have a few more bits to get them!!

I havent really counted up what they have got, but we are having a small Christmas this year so I have spend nowhere near what I have spent in previous years :) My OH does complain but he doesnt really know what they have until Christmas day and then it is to late they have already seen them !! lol

I have spent a fortune aswell my hubby aint impressed either.

I've, at most, spend £100 on Eleanor for both her birthday next year and Christmas this year (so about £50 / £50, including a bunch of books which we were gonna get anyway). Almost feel like I'm depriving her now after seeing how much everyone else is spending - especially as she's an only child as of yet, so won't have to worry about spending the same amount on a second child.

I think its easier to spend less on them the younger they are. I have spent £200 on charlie, he's 1, but i think £100 of that is clothes. In no way are you depriving her and tbh its best to start as you mean to go on iykwim? My daughter got far too much from day dot and now at 7.5yrs still expects to get alot!!

We've only spent £60 on Ellie for Xmas. I think that's plenty enough for her age.

blimey wish i had that to spend on archie, dont think ill spend that on the whole of my family! :haha:

Ive spent £760 on toys for Lilly, im not impressed so OH is really not going to be impressed Christmas morning x

its been since october though and i got highstreet vouchers of £450 so most have come out of that! x

I think we might have spent about £450 so far, but we've done it in bits so it hasn't made that much difference.

 We're spending £100 max, I would have been willing to spend a little bit more but I got paid today and found I'm over £100 down, right before bloody xmas boooo! :sad2: Loathed to dig out my credit card that I hid away when we paid them off a while ago but . . .

I was suprised when I worked out we had spent about £300 (Hubby thinks it is about £150 lol) on pressies for Eloise and that is not including all the clothes we have also got. There is a few more things I would love to buy her aswel and I am sure I will give in and get them before Christmas. I am splitting them between her Christmas and Birthday as that is 1st Jan though so it's not too bad I suppose!

Personally, I wouldn't spend more than £200 max for my daughters presents. She already has tons of clothes, and no doubt MIL and my mum will buy her even more:dohh:
