Ive just added my list up and i am mortified at what ive spent:blush::blush: its me thats been doing all the buying and no way did i think it added upto the total i got!!

Mine is about £130  I wasn't supposed to spend more than £100. To be fair that does include his stocking and his 12 - 18 month clothing which he would have needed anyway.

As I brought pretty much all his gifts second hand/reduced/on offer I got a lot for my money. I worked out if I had spend normal retail cost on his gifts it would be £350+ which means I am going to get in to a lot of conversations with my in laws about spending too much money on toys/clothes for him. I do try and tell them his toys are second hand but I don't think they believe me, I think they suspect I go nuts round Toys R Us with a credit card!

I suppose it is nice to know that his toys/clothes look so good it is hard to believe they are secondhand.

About £600 on both kiddies now , way over budget but im happy with what i got for it :)

I wouldnt even have a clue to be honest, I have brought some and so has OH so not noticed how much or how little we have spent. I reckon about £500 on both really so £250ish each, need to get few more bits inc the main pressies but we paid for everything in cash this year yey lol no debt x

About £150 I think and £500 overall for everyone and have loads for the money :)

We seem to always spend a fortune as well, well on our son & me on OH

We tend to spend about 200.00 pounds on our son & i spend the same on OH. We have a baby due in April next year (its first few xmas's will be fine) but once he hits about 4-5 both my kids will have the same spent on them

The way i see it is xmas is once a year, my son never asks for stupidly expensive stuff, he isnt into toys really so is very hard to buy for he always has been. I buy stuff that i know he would love. He gets stuff on his birthday but that is it. I dont buy through the year as i dont need to
