It's a traditional celtic BOY's name and I think it's lovely. As previous poster said though, I prefer Caelan as this is the traditional spelling. I really like this name (along with Caiden) but hubby likes bneither so they aren't on my list booooooooooooooo
My nephew is called Caelan. I like it but they do have a tendancy to shorten it to Caelle which does sound feminine I think! He also lives in Canada though so maybe it's more popular for boys over there.
