I came across the Name Khloy today & I would love to hear honest opinions on it please x

I don't like it, sorry. Never heard it before.

Sorry I don't like it either. Is it for a boy or girl? It sounds a bit like Chloe gone wrong.

I'm pronouncing it like 'cloy' which isn't a great word! Is that right?

I agree with pps, sounds like Chloe gone wrong, and I also would say Cloy...not a fan.

I'm not a fan I really don't like how it looks or sounds and seems made up. Don't let others put you off though at the end of the day its your decision .

Looks like a 5 year old trying to spell Chloe for the first time 😔 sorry x

Not a fan - is it meant to say "Chloe"? It looks more like Cloy to me

i don't like it that much. looks like a child trying to write Chloé, in my opinion.
"Klo" means "toilet" in German so if it's pronounced like "Klo-ee" and written with a "k", people from my country would probably have that association.
sorry, i don't want to discourage you, if you really like that name then you should use it, but I personally wouldn't choose it.

sorry to be negative but very few people know a Khloy (pronounced with a short pause after the K so its Kuh-loy) is a type of old flute but never heard of it as a name so it looks trendy and illiterate as 'Kh' dont actually pronounce anything in any 'western' language I know of (I may be wrong though) so it will be assumed its a fashionable take on 'Ch'

if I saw it as a name I would assume its meant to be 'chloe' but I think it will commonly be said Kloy to rhyme with Troy which just sounds clumpy and wrong too

Initial impression is that it's either a "yuneek" way of spelling Chloe or it's a boy name pronounced kloy which sounds OK to the ear honestly but it doesn't sound like a real name.

I really dislike the "Kh" beginning since it's a real sound, different than just K in some languages like Arabic, and it needs to be transliterated to *something* to give a good idea of what the word or name really is (like Khaled or Khadija couldn't be kaled and kadija) but I don't know of "kh" being a real sound or combination of letters in English which makes it look made up. I realize it might not be at all! I think the vast majority of people will have the impression based on their own lack of knowledge of the name or word...
