Who knows if it works and I have no idea how I came across this. I swear I was not looking for labor induction methods lol. I was actually googling about a product called "Aquaphor". It's suppose to help with healing.
In any case..This restaurant apparently makes a cream cheese that will put you into labor. It said that they get orders from all over to even have it shipped to them (not sure how fresh it would be after delivery lol)
Here is a quote from an article:
“I want to say hundreds — probably thousands — of mothers have come in,” he claimed. “For whatever reason, the cream cheese makes a difference. They put it on their bagel, and hours later they have their baby.”
Anecdotal evidence, primarily. Ms. DeHoratius, for example, bought two sesame bagels and two cups of the cream cheese last Tuesday, the day before her May 7 due date, and ate them with a pregnant friend who was due around the same time. That evening, Ms. DeHoratius’ water broke and she gave birth Wednesday night to Andrew Joseph. Ms. Farrell, meanwhile, delivered Quinn Thomas at 2:30 Wednesday morning.
“We’re very impressed with the cream cheese,” Ms. DeHoratius said with a laugh. “We don’t know how it works. Maybe it’s the power of suggestion, who knows? But he has something interesting down there.”
“I was definitely not a believer,” added Ms. Farrell. “But how can you go wrong with two babies in one day?”
Eric, too, is indifferent to the naysayers. The 43-year-old father of two says women have sent him pictures of their newborns and dropped by to thank him.
“I know it sounds funny,” he said. “But these women really believe that my cream cheese will induce labor. People believe in magic, and that’s all that matters.”
The guy who makes it calls it his secret recipe and won't disclose what he puts in it. From last I heard tho, it's mandatory to make it public with what goes into food. This is why McDonalds no longer has a "secret sauce". That's my understanding that its mandatory anyway..could be wrong. If its not...it should be.
Anyway..just thought I would share what I found!
