Labor soon?

So today I went in to find out how much baby weighs and they said he is 5lbs 11 oz and then I was having cramps and contractions so they did strep b and checked my cervix . She said I am 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Does this mean possibly baby soon?

I was 3 cm for weeks so maybe but prob not

My mom said she was a couple cm dilated for a while but she wasn't thinned out she says since I'm thinned out he might come soon. I don't want to get my hopes up but she acts like it could be soon. Doc said to try and hold him in for two more weeks so I don't know if that means she also thinks it will be soon to idk
