Have any of you found a link with this? Ive been thinking that comfort milk has reduced lactose and wondered if this made babies intolerant over a long period of time. My LO has been on comfort since 2 weeks old.
Is there anyone who fed thier baby comfort milk and then found thier LO was intolerant later on? My mum mentioned something to me about this and shes got me thinking now.

Most babies grow out of lactose intolerance. There is still a fair amount of lactose in comfort milk (which is why we had to switch to LF formula). I wouldnt worry to much. Once you start weaning you can introduce milk etc into her diet :)

My brother was born lactose intolerant, mum was told it was due to having gestational diabetes, it is most common with. Not sure if thats a fact though.
