After 14 weeks of terrible gastric distress and desperate attempts to eliminate things from my diet (I was down to just chicken, rice and veg!) my baby has been diagnosed lactose intolerant. I must stop breastfeeding and move to Neocate formula, which I've been trying to do for weeks with little success. Any success stories out there? Anyone else in the same boat?

Both my sons had/have neocate. Both cmpa. Are they sure its LI? Its just very rare in babies and means you will wean in a whole different way to avoiding dairy like you do with cmpa.

Both mine took neocate easily tbh, I have heard people say they put an oz in at a time so you could mix it with breast milk and do it gradually? x
