sooo my 2nd little princess is here! after what seemed like a never ending pregnancy!

so on the 13/11 i had my second sweep at around 1pm where my midwife confirmed i was 4-5cm dilated and my cervix was thin....a couple of hours passed and i had strong pains every 5mins ish......so i went into hospital feeling quite confident this was it....well they sent me home or for a walk as they said my cervix wasnt thin enough to be in actual labour i could of cried....a couple of hours passed i went home had a bath and the pains become intense...i didnt feel in control atall and found them unbearable so went back into hospital then the midwife confirmed i was in labour thank goodness......i had gas and air and got on the birthing ball for half hour ish before i needed pethedine as the pains come worse and worse.....i was ok for a few hours after that but then decided i couldnt handle it anymore and requested an epidural....now i had a feeling she wouldnt be long at this point but i needed the pain releif for my sanity so i didnt tell them that and let them get on with putting the epi in place....within half hour i wanted to push i wasnt numb yet but the pains had got better and it felt just more like pressure....after 10minutes of pushing my little lainey mae arrived into the world weighing a tiny 6lbs 14oz....shes beautiful and her big sister loves her to peices!!
