Hi guys - this is my first post in here and so hoping someone can answer some of my questions

I had a Laparoscopy done on the 19th of November and went to my GYNO yesterday, he told me they couldnt get the dye through my tubes and it actually seeped out of my uterus and behind my tubes... Has anyone every had this happen before???

My GYNO at first said he thought they put the dye in the wrong place but then said when they done the curette the dye should have went through my tubes then

GYNO has booked me in for another LAP to be done next month but i dont want this to be done, i have done alot of reading and am going to ask him if i can get a HSG done instead

I'm so confused and have no idea why the dye would seep out behind my tubes

We have been TTC for almost 3 years

Thanks in advance

Nikki

Sorry, no answers for you :(
Just wanted to wish you luck, I'm sure if you talk to your Dr. he will do the HSG.

sorry you are going through all this. ive also been ttc almost three years and its ongoin. i had a hsg last feb - you are awake for this and they dont push the dye in too far - if they think its blocked they dont go too far. in my case they reckoned my left tube was blocked and by pushin the dye in they would have hurt me. i had a laparoscopy on 13th nov which found that yes the tube was blocked but from the inside so unfortunately there is nothing can be done with it. im being referred for iui.
i guess what im saying is i think it would be better to have another lap and dye rather than a hsg. there is more they can do with when you are asleep.
hope it works out hun

Sorry abt that hunny! yes i wud recommend another lap & dye becuz apparently they can get more answers that way. Good luck! dont panic, maybe they made a mistake last time. Hope things go better for u!

hi there sorry that I can't offer more advice, Was supposed to having lap & dye on friday but hospital messed up appt. There are some more forums which are quite specific regarding this kind of thing I can't remember which one is the best but maybe try either 'verity' which is for women suffering from pcos and one for endometriosis which I can't remember the exact name for but if you google it then look for foum with pink front page. Both of these have alot of ladies on them who have had or will be having lap & dyes and they seem to be quite knowlegeable.
x
