late late late with BFN anyone relate ?

Hello baby friends !! Just a quick intro.

I've been Ttc #1 since Nov 2014. Mc in Dec. I'm usually 28 days regular cycle. However I'm now on 18 dpo. I'm 4 days late for af. Yet I've been having stabbing pain sore boobs. Major cramping like im going to start af I run to the bathroom to check but nope just watery cm. Very odd I usually get cramps then start af. I'm very tired and have loads of symptoms I took a test at 17 dpo and BFN. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat or has been through this and can share there story and outcome ? Much appriciated I'm going a little mad haha. Baby dust you all you to be mama's

It can take some time for a BFP to show. Depending on what brand HPT you use there are different sensitivity levels. FRER is the most sensitive. I hate to say it but it can take up to 2 weeks late for your hormone levels to be high enough. Test again at 1 week late and if still a BFN either wait another week or get a blood test.

Thanks angel. I will take a test when I'm a week late and see that happens in a couple of days. Trying to stay posative. I really hope so.

I am also TTC, and am 10 days late for AF. I did a pt 2 days ago, and it was BFN.
I have been actively researching and I have learnt that it can take 2 weeks for the pt to pick up the pregnancy hormone.

I just called my dr and she told me that I can come in for a blood test to determine whether I am pregnant. Maybe you should speak to your dr about it?

Also, prior to Nov 2014, were you on the BCP? I was, and I am afraid that my 10 days late for AF is due to my body regulating itself post BCP.

Hey so update 5 days late and today still had cramps but I've gor some red blood now bad cramps TMI ALERT and then abit of blood mixed in with watery cm but not alot to even fill a liner really. I shall see if it gets heavier but it hasn't all day. This can't be implantation bleeding this late shurly. Maybe it's just a light af and I'm out ? Hmm hope all you ladies are keeping sain as I'm not haha

U haven't been on any bcp for 2 years now hope your ok andi hades anything changed for you today ?
