Late/missed period

Hi, I'm 25 and ttc #1

Me and my husband have been trying since November to conceive with no luck.

I was due on on Monday and had no signs if of my period all week. I tested twice and both negative.

Yesterday morning I had a pinky/brown discharge and when I wiped I had stretchy brown bits - sorry for tmi. The rest of the day and night I had nothing at all.

Today I haven't had anything up until an hour or so ago, I went to the toilet and the brown stretchy bits again and a little bit of discharge and have now got slight cramps.

I'm never late and I always come on on time.

I am so confused!
