Late ovulation success stories?

Hi Ladies,

I'm popping over from TTC. I was wondering if any of you ladies got pregnant as a result of late ovulation and by late ovulation I mean CD30+. I have only ovulated twice in the past year and when I do it is late in my cycle...I'm wondering if there is hope to conceive late, or if I should just give up until I start Clomid (scheduled to start in November). I am currently CD32 and no ovulation as of yet (confirmed by blood test).

I would love to hear if any of you ladies got your BFP after late ovulation.

Hey!
I got off BC in March after 8 years..My first cycle was 50 days, then 48 and the last one would have been 42. I ovulated on cd 29 and am now 7 weeks pregnant! I had a sonogram today and saw a strong heartbeat
So yes, there is hope!

My last LMP was Jan 28th. I did not ovulate until March 13th(my birthday) This pg was not planned but i worked my dates backwards plus i had cramping which i though af was coming so we dtd that night(which oh was suppose to pull out as our bc) That was the only possible time we could have conceived. That was i very long cycle. But to be fair, i have always had long cycles and this is my 7th baby and 8th pg so i dont think late ovulation has anything to do with not being able to conceive, i hope i helped.

Thanks! I have been reading lots of conflicting literature. A lot of people seem to thing that if you ovulate after CD22 then the egg is of poor quality. I lost my previous pregnancy (conceived approx CD25) at 10 weeks...so this late ovulation thing is really stuck in my head. Seeing your success stories restores my hope. Thanks.
