Well it seems that my body has thrown up another special little something for me to contend with! I had a HSG on Mon 22nd Oct which was day 8 of my cycle, which usually lasts about 31-33 days. Im now on day 35 with no AF and not even any of the usual cramping that I get on the lead up to AF. Ive had 2 BFN over the last few days and Im not feeling very hopeful about being pregnant anyway. Do you think the HSG messed up my cycle? I did use some OPKs this month and I was convinced I saw the two lines on day 18, which would make me very late, but of course now Im starting to doubt that I read it correctly. I have been charting (ish) - mostly over the last few weeks but not consistently enough for it to show me when I o'd. Ahhh! This TTC journey, which has already taken over 2 years, is starting to get the better of me!!

I've heard a few people comment on a hsg messing up their cycles...I had a lap and dye done at the beginning of october, and even though I am taking fertility meds, I have also noticed that my ovulation has been pushed back significantly. I normally ovulate on meds on CD12...always. I'm now up to CD19, with a scan in the morning to see whether I am going to be able to trigger ovulation! So I definitely think it's possible...

:hugs: hope you get some answers soon! It's so frustrating when you don't know where you stand!

I looked into this before I had my HSG done at the start of 2012. I have PCOS so my cycles are really long and irregular, so was worried that the HSG would make it even longer. I read plenty of people on here and other websites saying that the cycle of their HSG, their period was delayed. It seemed to be that doctors' responses are along the lines of "ovulation is hormonal, HSG is a physical exam, the two aren't related so HSG cannot delay your cycle". But I think the anecdotal evidence speaks for itself :/
