Late period with a BFN?

So I have been 'hovering' around on this site for a while but this is my first post. I have been TTC for 3 years. We have been through several failed IUI procedures but have been taking a break the last couple of months. My period was due on the 9th of April (my av cycle is 32 days, my longest 35 days) so I am around 8-11 days late - my charting suggests 11 days. I have tested every 2nd or 3rd day since my period was due but all have been BFN. I have no real symptoms to speak of but as I have never been pregnant I don't know what I would expect. I have an appt with my GP on Monday but the not knowing is driving me crazy. Is there anyone out there in the same position or is there anyone who had a BFN this late in their cycle which turned out to be a false negative?

Did you use OPKs so you know when OV was? As you may have OV'd later than normal.

Thanks so much for your reply - we are having a month off from thinking about it all too much but I know that I usually ovulate fairly early in my cycle around day 10. Still going crazy!
