Welcomed my due date yesterday with open arms, had some spicy food, some lovin' with the boyfriend and even a few painful contractions and what I think might have been my show after a shower.... And then I waved goodbye to my due date, STILL PREGNANT. I am such a punctual, on time person, I'm actually feeling really frustrated and almost angry that baby isn't here and theres N-O-T-H-I-N-G I can do about it :growlmad:
Any tips for taking my mind off it, because I'm just sat here all fat and annoyed and can't think of anything other than "WHEN ARE YOU COMING, BABY?!"

Is there anything that you enjoy to do , that you don't think you will be able to do once baby gets here? Maybe try doing that, or go to a craft store and pick up some sort of simple craft that can be time consuming but not cost a fortune. It may keep your mind occupied for a while.

I am crocheting a baby blanket, but I only work on it for short periods of time, as I know once I get closer to my due date, I will want to work on it more to keep my mind occupied!

That's such a good idea! Much better than lazing about in front of the TV (which I hate doing) but I'm no good at things like that, I'd end up doing it wrong and getting all emotional haha!! I am doing a study from home course, which I should be getting on with but I'm finding concentrating hard! My mind keeps darting back to the fact that I want to meet my baby! I think I'm just in a bad mood today, hopefully I can find a nice activity tomorrow. But today I just feel like I wanna crawl back into bed and say "wake me up when I'm in labour" :/ x

:((( crap crap crap!!!i hate waiting, and my time keeping is THE WORST so i hate to know how you feel!im not even due yet and i feel late!!! seem to have been off work FOREVER

Yeah, my work got rid of me as soon as they could, at 29 weeks, saying it was in my best interest, but really they hated having a pregnant lady waddling around taking food and coffee out to people! So these past 11 weeks have been veeeeeeeryy long indeed. But now my countdown to D-Day has hit 0, I'm left waiting and wondering when baby will come. This bad mood really doesn't help! I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed so my frustration is magnified 10x

Just got to think that your due date is an estimate and that anywhere between 37 weeks and 42 weeks is on time. You still got nearly a fortnight to go until your LATE!!!

I'd get some plans going for you days, like walks, swimming, hairdressers, evil-fish-foot pedecure, lunch out, spar.....I dunno, just things that are nice and you will look forward to. And also that will pamper you and prepare you physically for labour and the first few weeks of motherhood. That way if you don't go into labour you have a fab couple of weeks anyway. If you are not constantly thinking about going into labour you will relax more and are more likely to go into labour.
