My girl seems to have gotten very lazy! Literally over the past three days she hasn't really moved. She seems to get a bit more lively in the evenings but its never exactly energetic.
Should i be worried? Today i've felt her maybe five or six times..xx

after 24 weeks your supposed to feel LO at least 10 times a day.
so 6 times + the rest of the day i think its fine (if youre worried rind your doctor)

I think you should be fine. As long as you feel the baby everyday moving then its a good sign .. I didn't feel regular movements throughout everyday until I was about 25 weeks..

at 23 weeks my boy had a quiet few days...think it was a growth spurt and then he was very very active for about 2 weeks after that and then went quiet again...as long as you're feeling them then i wouldn't worry unless you get hardly any movements obviously but 6 times is plenty as she may be moving while you're asleep and you just dont feel them x

My LO had a quiet day around 22 weeks, I think it's normal for them to have quiet days as they have mini growth spurts.
But hun if you are worried please ring your MW.

I think your bubs is fine hun. I've always had a rather "quiet" baby, my LO has many lazy days and I've made many scared rushed trips to the hospital when his/her movements scared me a bit and everything was always fine :) My doctor just told me that every baby's personalities are different and it's not uncommon. Does your LO respond to any outside stimuli? Like music, heat (from a shower) etc. My doctor suggested for me to do something that stimulated baby when I got worried, my LO responds to music as well as when I walk a lot so if I get scared that bubs isn't moving a lot I take a little stroll or turn the radio on and my bubs will usually "perk up" a bit. Just a suggestion to try :flower:
As always, it's better to be safe than sorry. If you're worried it doesn't hurt to give your doctor a call, that's what they're there for

my LO was usually a right little kicker and just before 24 weeks, she just went really quiet.. but she was fine.. could be the way they're laying too, as at that stage they move around alot, and because their kicks aren't so strong when they're kicking towards your back you can't feel it so much...

or you could have a really lazy baby - my little madam, keeps worrying everyone... she didn't move and the midwife was shocked when i said she moves about 5ish times a day.. so she sent me upstairs to be monitored - and she didn't move for about an hour, her heart rate didn't really change, cheeky madam, then as the midwife decided to call in a consultant, we got a massive fidgit!! :haha:
sometimes they just like to worry us!! but if you're really worried, just speak to your midwife!!
xxxxxx

Could be baby is sitting closer to the back of your uterus (opposite your belly), so you wouldn't feel kicks/movement as much, as you can't feel sensations over there.

if you are really worried, then give your mw a call xx

Thanks girls. I'm not particularly worried, just wondered if i should be!lol I think she might be more of a night owl as she seems to move around a bit more just as i'm trying to get to sleep!
Am going to try the stimuli thing tho becasue it would be fun to know what my baby reacts to!

my baby was lively most days but did get her quiet days..
midwife sometimes use to worry and send me for monitering and it was never nothing wrong..
she wouldnt move all day and as soon as i got hooked up to the monitor she would be kicking away lol im sure they used to think i would go there just to hear the heartbeat:haha:

babys do get quiet days tho i wouldnt worry:Dbet shes moving loads now x
