Hi,
Myself and husband have been TTC for the past 3 months with no success so far..my periods are regular and so far neither of us seem to have any significant health issues that would interfere with the baby making process..
my question - there is leakage of what i feel is sperm every time after we have sex..im quite worried now if that could be a reason for no implantation so far? I understand that 3 months time is nothing to worry about but still this thing has been worrying me quite a bit :(
i usually keep my legs up high in an inclined position raising my hips for a few minutes after intercourse, but that does not help either..soon after i stand up, i can feel a hot trickle coming out and every time turns out to be something like the sperm??!! I'm not sure if im going in the right direction..would definitely love to hear from anyone out there with similar issues!! Thanks!!

It's quite normal. That is why some women lie in bed with their hips on a pillow for 20 minutes or so. Also you can try softcups, they can keep the swimmers up there already. However, I think I have heard that the fittest ones get up there quick, and what comes out is probably nothing to worry about.

It is definitely semen coming out, it doesn't all go up inside you and quite a bit can come out when your DH ejaculates.

Do you know when you are ovulating? Have you been trying to have intercourse around your most fertile times? Have you recently come off of birth control pills or other hormonal contraceptive?

I have read that staying laying down and with your legs elevated does not increase your chances of getting pregnant. I don't think that the leakage would cause any issues.

I know it is hard after 3 cycles to not think that something is wrong with you, but try to relax. I freak out too.. espeically because it seems like everyone around me is having an easier time getting knocked up :)

Thanks misspriss for that quick reply!! Yes, the past 3 months i have been taking ovulation tests at home to determine LH surge and ovulation timings and based on that we have been trying..but sometimes we have missed a day in between instead of doing it everyday..apart from that I'm not on any pills or any other medications..keeping fingers crossed..

yeah..u r so correct!! to me it seems like others get it so effortlessly, whereas i have been struggling to make it happen!! anyway, im not jealous or anything but just a bit worried..im happy for all those who wanted it to happen and it did within no time!!

It's actually okay to not DTD every day.. Every other day is okay.

My first time.. I got pregnant my 3rd cycle.. but it ended in a blighted ovum.. due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't get to try again until this last spring.. i am about to start my 4th cycle.

Use this time to make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins.. both you and DH are eating healthy, exercising, drinking lots of water and limiting caffiene intake. Those are just a few things that can help make you both more fertile.

I get leakage too after BD. Some of it mixed in with my own CM and sometimes I can't tell who's is who. What I'm doing this cycle to prevent any leakage at all is BD right before bed, then rolling over and going to sleep. I make sure to have my daily water consumption earlier in the day, don't eat food or drink fluids near the time of BD, or else I'll have to get up. Hope this helps.

Thank you!! Sorry that happened to you..im sure this time around it will work!! all the best :)
