Leaking...or not

I'm 3 weeks in and exclusively bf, my boobs have never leaked. Baby is putting on weight and I seem to have plenty milk so I'm not too worried about supply but if I hadn't leaked yet does that mean I've escaped or could I still start leaking?

Watching with interest - I'm exclusively bf-ing my one week old and haven't leaked yet either. My SIL said she leaks from one boob when feeding from the other but I haven't had that yet either.

That's an interesting one! I was leaking pretty furiously from about day 7 with my son and day 3 with my daughter.

I've leaked from the start with both my lo's though I didn't make it bfing very far with my first we are at almost 5 months with DS2 and bfing and I still occasionally leak whether it's from the other while he's feeding from one or even randomly when he hasn't fed for a while and I start thinking man he's gotta be hungry by now I've gotten quite used to it and sometimes it's a nice reminder that hey even though he may not think he's hungry he will realize he is as soon as he sees the boob!

I think it goes back to how often are you feeding. I find that I don't leak during the day but I am feeding often and not engorged. I find that I do leak over night when I am very full and haven't fed in a while.

Maybe you are just feeding often and not gotten over full. If you are feeding and lo is gaining weight then there shouldn't be an issue.

I stopped leaking with DD1 when she was a couple of months old, and have never leaked with DD2! My supply regulated very well very quickly from true feeding on cue, including co-sleeping and feeding all night (in my sleep). A lot of people, but not all, who feed on cue little and often seem to escape leaking.

I wouldn't worry too much. I BF my DD until 13 months and am still BFing my DS who is 16 months. I never leaked much at all either time. Occasionally I leaked in the morning but only if I got a lie in. X
