Leaky weenotions?

i got a preloved weenotions (not night one) from cnt and it seems in really good nick, however both times my LO has worn it he's soaked right through to his clothes? what am i doing wrong? I stuffed it with a bamboo insert and used a pop in booster, should I use something else? i didnt think you needed a wrap with these?
help? I love it (just posting a pic) i want him to wear it

Yeah mine looks a lot like yours and it's a Northern Light which needs a wrap (shame I know )
