Leaving it a little late!! ... What to take to hospital?!

Hi ladies,
My midwife has been advising me to start sorting my bags for ages and I never seem to get around to it .. Plus I think if I do my bags then I'm actually set for birth and that terrifies me a bit!
Anyway! What should I pack for me and also for baby?! I don't know where to start! Thank you

I am starting to organize my bag also at the moment. So will be handy to keep an eye on this thread

I have to have a csection so hopefully it won't be too different.

I am clueless about labour bag as I have csections - old nightie or tshirts to deliver in, socks, slippers and a plastic bag to put wet/bloody clothes in after birth.

As for after birth/section,

For you - pjs or nighties (2 pairs), big old pants, sanitary pads, breast pads, toiletry bag with usual stuff inside, lip balm, nursing bra if breast feeding. Going home clothes.

Baby - 4 vests, 4 babygro/onesies , hat, scratch mitts or socks for little hands, blanket, nappies, cotton wipes, bottles and formula if required. Car seat for going home.

Camera, loose change, snacks, juice and phone charger.

Dressing gown, towels for shower and baby. I have to bring cot sheets as well. Snacks and drinks too. Spare tshirt for ur partner.
Toiletries. Brush. Nipple balm, camera, spare change for parking and vending machines.

I had a bleed last week and was lucky had mine ready as i ended up in hospital for 2 days! Its good to be ready jic!

2 x Scented mini bin liners

3 Sleep suits (newborn)
5 Vests (newborn)
2 x socks
2 x mittens
2 x hat
1 x booties
2 x bibs
1 x pack nappies (size 1)
1 x pack of wipes
1 x pack of nappy bags
1 x travel change mat
