Legal problems with babys name

Im havin problems with my babys name. I no you are not allowed 2 have offensive names but the name we want is actually a name.

My partner is in jail and Im going 2 have the baby while hes inside. He wants me 2 name the baby Hitler and I sed I wud. Now I was told I cant call the baby that name.

What are the laws on babies and what you can call them? Can I complain to sumone about my rights being broken?

emm i'm sorry i don't know about how the legal side of things will be affected, i don't actually think there is any rules against it but i don't know.
Personally i don't think Hitler is an appropriate name for a baby or anyone for that matter now, it will cause so much conflict for your baby but it's your choice, i hope you get the information you are looking for.

Hitler would be a ridiculous name for a baby considering Hitler's name was actually Adolf... The surname of "Hitler" still exists are a family surname in European countries but the combination of the first name "Adolf" and the surname "Hitler" is prohibited in most countries throughout the world as it can be seen as offensive

there was a case somewhere someone called their baby Adolf Hitler and their child was taken into care, they were like nazi extremists though their other two children were called Aryan and Himmler , like querry said i dont think its appropriate either the name has alot of assumptions about it but its your choice

Fobs grandmothers a survivor and ive met a few people at my synagogue who have too. There children should have been taken away, what kind of parent would name their child after someone like that. Its not funny in the slightest. Go to the camps (i have) and come back and tell me your still wana name your baby that. I feel bloody sorry for your child if you do. its just plain sick.

Where does being British come into any of this? The British HATE Hitler, why would you name your child after someone you hate? It'd be like naming them Jozef Fritzl, or Harold Shipman or Phillip Garrido, only worse!
