I started a new antibiotic for a persistent kidney infection just after Christmas.https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/p...ructed-urinary-flow-risk-premature-birth.html

Before I was on Penicillin, the new antibiotic is called Cefuroxim 250. My little one was exremely active prior, throwing kicks that I only remember from the third trimester with my son. They were very strong and visible through my skin.
Now he is moving about as often as normal but his movements are more subtle and gentle. I don't get kicked to death anymore when I go to bed. He moves around once or twice and then it's quiet.
I have had countless ultrasounds which show he is okay as far as they can see...but I'm wondering if maybe the infection or antbiotics make him feel tired?
At least I have been so exhausted and weak I can't stand up for longer than 20 mins. Which must have a reason because I felt like I could run a marathon until the 23rd. :(

Nah. I wouldn't worry. Shouldn't affect baby ! As long as antibiotics are safe in pregnancy which I'm sure they are baby is fine. Probably just coincidence xx. How r u feeling?

Yeah I was wondering if he just grew out of room a bit...

And thank you, I feel less inflamed and have been able to pee by spending most of the day laying on my side or on all fours. I only get up to pee, grab food and wash myself really and it seems to help. Before I was sitting most of the day and I notice when I sit or stand for too long my bladder region hurts as if something is getting stuck.
Not sure if I have to do this permanently or not...I can hardly even play with my toddler.

That's good news! As long as u can prevent whatever is causing the obstruction then that's good! No stress some women are on bedrest for 9 months if u need to then go for it guilt free
