Okay, so I've finished my first Letrozole treatment (Oct 9th - 13th, or CD 3-7 at 7.5 mg), this is actually my first infertility treatment ever too. I had my monitoring appt with the specialist yesterday, the 17th, and my PCOS cysts have decreased by about 50% and my lining was at a 10 (they look for an 8 or better) and I had one (possibly two) eggs at 18 mm, which is a mature egg. So overall the appt went AMAZING! We did the trigger shot last night and I can do an at home test November 2nd. Other than achy nothing yet, and I have a feeling thats more the meds then anything else.

So anyone want to wait out the TWW with me?

I use letrozole too. My third cycle was a success in getting pregnant. Ended in mc but that has nothing to do with the drug.

I am still in my mc cycle but FF gave me cross hairs. I have yet to have af come so I this is natural. I assume it is wrong but I can't induce until af comes or I test around that time.

So I am in the tww.

I am almost exactly with you smschneider! First time doing fertility related anything. I had 2 mature follicles at my u/s last Monday (10/12), positive OPK on 10/14, and currently waiting... I'll probably try to wait it out until Halloween to test. My RE said I have to test regardless so

We did not do trigger shot, just monitoring to make sure that the Femara didn't work TOO well. During one u/s I had 4 maturing follicles and she banned my husband and I from BDing just incase.

For comparison, I have PCOS, was just diagnosed in August by my OBGYN after a year of unsuccessfully trying. Regular periods, but 40 days a part. Only symptom of anything is sore breasts, but that could be a side effect of ovulating multiple eggs?

Aayla, how did the early pregnancy feel after Letrozole? I'm nauseous but I'm only 1 or 2 DPO, I'm assuming it's the meds but I don't know, with my miscarriage in August I was nauseous 2/3 days after too.

TXsweettea, I'm glad someone is going through this "with" me!! I am going to test Nov. 1st, we have my step daughter that weekend, and I would like to share that with her.

I'm frustrated that I can't tell if anything is a symptom or a side affect from the drugs (I'm also taking Progestrone (sp?) to prevent miscarriage)

I have PCOS too, so very similar circumstances! I was diagnosed about two years ago because of seriously irregular periods.

Oh my goodness I had so many symptoms. I am not sure if it was the letrozole or not. It has a short life in the body so it is usually gone by the time you ovulate. But I was having symptoms starting 3dpo. I knew for sure the egg was fertilized.

Flushes tingly skin like when you are about to get the flu
Very oily skin on my face
Feverish
Cramps twinges in uterus
Nipple were very sensitive
I could smell everything
Hair was extra greasy
