Sorry a bit late

My waters went at 4.45am on the 13th of August, 2 days before I was meant to have my elective section

I was told to go to straight to hospital as it was thought that Liam was breech even tho I wasn't contracting. It was then found out that Liam wasn't breech by scan so I was asked if I wanted to try for a vbac which I refused as I wasn't contracting so they would have had to induce me anyway and after Rhys's birth I am not having that drug again.

I was left till 2pm when it was finally my turn to go to theatre, which was a knightmare cos I was nil by mouth from 6am and was getting dehydrated. They put a Iv in at 1pm so I could get some fluid

After the spinal was put in Liam was born at 2.43pm on the 13/08/2012 screaming

He weighted 7lb 7oz so a lb lighter than Rhys

Hubby held him till I came out of theatre were I started bf and then we went to the ward a couple of hours later

We came home on Wednesday after Liam had to have a X-ray on his head but he is fine and feeding well, he is now on the bottle.

I am healing well but this weather makes keeping the wound dry really hard
