Hi ladies!

This is my first post in the 3rd tri section! Hello to everyone! :flower:

Just a quick question, I've noticed I've been having light-brown-colored discharge since yesterday. Not so much, but noticeably there. No pains or aches to go with it. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Not sure if I want to waste time seeing a doctor about it if it's normal and harmless, but don't want to be sorry later on either...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Didn't want to read and run, but Im not sure what it could be :(.
Hope everything's okay though!

I would get it checked out by the doc, could be something like an infection or just a bit of mucous but it's worth going along to see to rule anything out x

Best just get it checked out just incase. There's many reasons for bleeding and it being lightbrown is a good sign, bright red is more to worry about. You could always just ring your midwife and see what she says?

Alright, I'm convinced. I've gotten myself an appointment for 2mrw. Thanks for the replies ladies.

Hey,

I had the same thing at about your stage and earlier. Sometimes it was light brown, sometimes dark brown/mucus-y and a couple of times bright red (which freaked me out!!!) I went to my hospitals epau clinic and they scanned me and everything was fine. In the end they thought it was cervical erosion, your cervix goes through changes which can cause it to bleed slightly (brown blood being old blood). Or it might be thrush or a uti? I dunno I'm not a doctor, but generally I've been told by the nurses in the epau that unless the discharge is red, bloody and you have pain to go with it, it's usually nothing to worry about.
Am sure you'll be fine xxxxx:hugs:
