I'm just after getting on a 3 hour train ride to stay with OH for the weekend on my own, went to go to the bathroom and my liner was pale pink, there was no more when i wiped and I havnt had any pains apart from mild ones earlier when I walked a little too fast but that happens whenever i do that! Hes kicking right now and I only had a detailed ultrasound two days ago which showed everything was fine, I was thinking should I go to the hospital when I get there or just mention it to my midwife next time I see her? I have none of my notes with me and am on a train so dont really know what to do

I would go to the hospital to get checked again hon. Any second tri bleeding should always be investigated.

Have you done anything to irritate your cervix? I agree with jellybean though. Any kind of bleeding is a cause for concern. :flower:

Thats what I thought :nope: OH has a big work do this evening i was supposed to be going to him we were all excited hence me being on this stupid train for the next 3 hours, hes an awful worrier too i can see him having a total heart attack if i have to get him to take me to hospital in this random place with none of my own doctors :nope: I havnt done anything to irritate my cervix as far as I know, OH and I last had sex on monday so I doubt it could be that since its thursday now

Maybe you irritated something while getting a little exercise? I personally would wait to see if I was bleeding again before I went in. If he is moving well, I wouldn't necessarily be worried-IMO.
I'm not a doctor by anymeans but are you feeling more pressure down there?

I wouldnt even call it exercise I literally was just walking the 5 minutes from my house to the bus stop, yeah I've txt my sister and asked her shes had 4 kids and is always good at knowing when to be calm and when to get checked out, I've got a long wait til I get there anyway so will just keep an eye for anymore since theres nothing i can do right now anyway

You might want to give your midwife a call and just let them know what happened and ask their advice. If it's not bright red bleeding and it was only light and has already stopped, more than likely it's nothing serious. A little bit of spotting here and there does happen, and if it's nothing more than that and you aren't in any pain, I wouldn't personally go to A & E. But maybe let your midwife know and take it easy for now (no sex, no strenuous exercise, etc.). If they think it's something that needs to get checked out, they'll advise you what to do next. More than likely, from my experience, if you're otherwise healthy, they'll just have you watch it and follow up with them if you notice any more.

Hope it doesn't happen again and it was just a one time thing! But if you see any kind of blood again i would definitely go get checked even if its not your doctors!! GL

I had a urine infection the other week an was weeing pink urine,do you think maybe it could have been that? When you walked fast maybe you leaked a lil?

I had a yeast infection that caused some light pink spotting last week. My Dr said any kind of infection can cause that because the cervix is so filled with blood right now. But, I'd definitely suggest calling into the office if you can and if not, a quick trip to L&D wouldn't hurt. At least you will have peace of mind knowing what is going on rather than wondering. :hugs:

I got off the train and straight away rang my midwife, hes been dancing around all evening and after the detailed scan 2 days ago she said not to panic, drink lots of water, rest and to keep an eye on it, if there's any more or I get pains then to head straight to the hospital, havnt had anymore and no pains at all. I thought maybe it'd be a uti but I don't have any symptoms, gonna head to the hospital if anything changes but everything seems fine now
