There is a handle at the top of the basket, you pull it to unlock the mechanism, then click another pedal with your foot to unlock the next part, go back to the original handle and pull and the whole thing colapses, and as it folds there is a plastic catch that locks it together, meaning you can just pick itup one handed and no worries about it reopening. It's got a sturdy wee handle at the side too.hope that helps. I usually do it one-handed. Xx
