Lila or rose

I like old granny names that are cute and want something that isn't too popular.which do you prefer rose or lila?

Or Lila Rose. They sound good together.

I wanted to name my first girl Lila but my partners sister got to it before me.

My fav older name is Estelle, but some people think it sounds TOO old. I don't know, I think it's cute.

Put off because there are so many double barrel names or middle names rose wer I live. I loved lily too but a friend used it and so far I don't know any Lilas.i loved sadie but hubby said no way!

I like Lila Rose! I know what you mean about Rose as a middle name though. I felt the same but it is a tradition in OHs family.

I like: Esther, Ethel (nn Etie) Elsie and Leticia/Lititia (La-tish-a)

I always wanted a little girl called Elsa growing up. I was obsessed with 'Born Free'! When I was pregnant it got modified to Elsie as it is a family name. OH still said no though

I like Rose best but both are lovely . Rose is getting really common as a middle name but I haven't heard of as many babies with it as a first name.

I love Lila obviously , we have not met any others and people are always commenting on how lovely it is . We liked rose for a middle name but avoided it because as its overused around here. x

Sorry just seen this , Nearly 12 weeks pregnant with number 2 so just starting to think of names and its hard work none I like as much as Lyla, so far liking Beth, Neve Skye , Daisy or Violet love Erin but its Lyla's middle name , and if its a boy Joel, Jonah or Finn so far but change my mind every day lol.
