My 8 month old barely makes eye contact with me when I spoon feed her purées. She looks all around and maybe once will glance at me if I really get her attention. Is this normal? I’m not sure if she’s just curious and wants to see everything. She does look at me and get excited when I get her from her crib each morning though. Even when I call her name if she’s crawling around, she rarely turns her head to find me. She laughs and smiles and plays, so maybe she’s distracted? Any advice is welcome. I haven’t brought this to Dr attention yet because I’ve just recently become concerned.

My 4 month old is the same! When bottle feeding or being spoon fed he barely looks at me, but he is very nosey and is more interested in what going on around him. I wouldn't be worried
