Limited to 2 tubs of aptamil per customer??!!!

Oh not this again. Might swing by Boots tomorrow and see if I can get a couple of tubs. Hadley is on the C&G Anti-Reflux milk, I tend to buy two at a time anyway but I'd hate for it to run out, it's the only thing that helps her reflux.

I use C&G ready made formula does anyone know if it effects this also ? I buy a months work at a time usually !

Because the powdered formula is running out in other places most people are resorting to buying the ready made stuff now x

I have just sent DH out to Asda now to get some as my Ocado order is not due till Friday when I will be very low so if they were to limit or run out I would have a problem. So frustrating !!

I am hoping rtf amounts stay ok as LO won't have powder version.

Just to say I've been in tesco this morning and in ours at least there was no restrictions and a full complement available. So although it sounds like some areas are low, don't panic too much xx

It's also worth noting there are no supply or production problems, formula is being made in just the same amounts as it always has been, so there is plenty to go around. They have just identified a problem with mass buying in some areas, which has caused a temporary supply problem. These restrictions are precautionary, designed to stop this mass buying by a minority of people and they should help. No need to panic but I think the days of being able to buy a months worth of formula in one go are over.

I bought a tub today there was only 5 of the first milk left in asda but my asda is VERY popular. I've preordered 20x first milk cartons and a tub of formula at the airport. Thank god. I'm gonna keep checking every day or so to make sure its definitely still there.

I'm sure aptamil will try to keep up with the demand x

The NCT are hooking up people who have spare formula tubs with people who can't get hold of any. If any of you get really desperate put a post the NCT Facebook page and hopefully someone local will be able to help you out!

My local Boots store had signs up all along the formula shelves today saying each customer was limited to 2 x 900g tubs of formula. There was only one bottle left of the pre made C&G and couldn't see any tubs of powder.

Then I spied the no 1 tub I needed hidden behind other numbers on the bottom shelf. No doubt hidden by someone for them to go back later!

We looked on eBay - some people are selling the C&G tubs for 15 each.

There was a notice in my asda today saying cow and gate and aptamil are experiences difficulties with their supply x

Ah, I was in Tesco today and there is so much SMA, don't remember Aptimal but I was lucky and got the last No1 Cow and Gate tub, I was shocked - however there loads in Boots, I just needed a few other things from Tesco as well. They have the sign up for all formula's though.
