Ah I,ll be 9 week tomorrow and just seen the line going from my belly button to top of the pubic area! Ah its so cool, faint but partner can also see it! Is this a sign the placenta has formed/forming? Anyone else at 9 week get it? Gone hard too in that area!

Ive not heard it means anything, apart from old wives tale of its a boy

I don't think it's a sign the placenta has formed.. I'm almost 34 weeks and don't really have much of one.

Iv heard that one too with the whole going up past the belly button and just staying at the belly button! Was excited to see it in the mirror this morning. Haha!

Something to do with the hormones given off which is made by the placenta

Deffo not in my case placenta should have stopped my HG seems i got it so early lol

Mine appeared around 12 or 13 weeks I think. It's very faint, thankfully.

My bump didn't go proper firm (not bloat-firm) till recently - the past 4/5 weeks. Even now, it alternates between firm but wobbly and firm-firm
