yes. I was on LT and lost over 5 stone.
It is a fab diet if (and it's a big if) the timing is right in your life, you are absolutely 100% motivated and self disciplined to stick to it to the letter.
The hardest part of it is the first few weeks when you feel pretty rotten. You can have carb withdrawal and feel flu like and get headaches. Once Ketosis kicks in, it gets much easier but it's getting through those first few days which is difficult. After your first weigh in, the huge first weeks weght loss ( my freind lost 16lbs, I lost 9lbs) motivates you for another week and after a couple of weeks you will usually lose about 3-4lbs a week averaging 1 stone a month for women and 1.5st for men.
It's thorough a pharmacy as I suppose you know and you have to visit the pharmacy every week for a weigh in and your weeks supply of food.
I would go on LT again but as I said, the timing in your life has to be right. If it's not..forget it.

Having said all that, I have heard that the Cambridge diet is a better option as it's about the same price and there are more flavours to choose from. With LT the cereal bars are vile. There is only choc, vanilla and strawberry shakes and chicken soup. The chicken soup I found quite horrid as well.
ETA: I hope I'm allowed to advise this. If not apologies to the admin and mods on here...Have a look at the weighloss forum Minimins. It has a really good support section on it for both LT and Cambridge diet and it may help you to make your decision.
