Do I need to Contact my gp for blood tests now?? I have the midwife on tuesday. Just my luck 😵😵 I've been feeling unwell lately too. With especially sore headaches. Anyone else had this happen and baby been OK x

We had visitors that were due to come for dinner last night and one of them had slapped cheek. They didn't come but I was curious so did some Googling because I'm a teacher. Basically, if you come into contact with it, especially before 20 weeks then you are at risk of some complications. Most women and babies are fine. I would ring your doctor or midwife just to let them know.

Hi Hun, I'm in the same situation - my son had slapped cheek a few weeks ago, deffo call your gp or midwife, I've had a couple blood tests, I'm just waiting for results to see if the virus is in my system. Couldn't believe my luck either lol I'll let u know how I get on and what the process is.. So far it's just blood tests xxx
