hey ladies I have updated much on elena so I figured i would do that now!! Elena is now 3lbs 10.5oz, she has finally gained 2 pounds more then her birth weight! She had her PDA surgically closed. It was successful, she is now on high flow nasal canual! She is also at 21% oxygen!! She is at 34 weeks and 5 days!! So she is a little over two months old now!! She does have Retinopathy of Prematurity. But her levels arent bad! Her right eye is at level 1 and her left is at level 2. She is sooo beautiful! I cant tell you ladies how much she already has me wrapped around her little fingers lol I have been finally able to hold her more but she is on touch isolation. SO everyone has to wear the gowns and gloves but its worth it just to be able to finally hold her! She has a little cry but seems to get stronger now that she has the breathing tube finally out!! They still say that her due date is problaly when she is coming home!! I want her home sooner but realistically I still need to get her crib, carseat, and mattress. So that is problaly enough time to get them!! I am finally having my baby shower this weekend! Considering she came the day of my baby shower I am excited knowing that it will happen this time lol
So glad she's doing well. Our lo got nicknamed "squeeks" when she was in the NICU because she only had a little squeek instead of a cry lol now she's cooing and babbling away to Daddy in the other room 
it's amazing how strong they are and how quickly they grow and change
