Lochia help

I'm almost ten weeks postpartum and still bleeding on and off ! I went to the dr she gave me some tablets but they r not working!! I will get back to her next week but I'm curious if anyone had bled that long and wasn't anything scary! I'm really worried as I really would like to give my daughter a brother or sister soon

I bled for 8 weeks pp this time, on and off, but not heavily. Then I got my period back at 10 weeks, doh! At my 8 week check-up the doctor asked if I'd finished my pp bleeding and wasn't concerned that I hadn't, he didn't say that it should be finished by a certain time.
I'm sure it's fine and you'll be able to ttc soon

Mine diddn't last long but I don't think it is that unusual for bleeding to take a long time to stop. I've spoken to other ladies that were still bleeding at 10 weeks.

Was everything normal for them? My dr gave me some tablets to stop it cause it was getting annoying! I'm not really "bleeding" now but I'm spotting; some days red some brown.. The pills didnt really stop anything.. I'm so annoyed! If u could provide me any info u remember from those girls if be thankful

Yes, everything was normal. I think as long as it is tapering off in general and not heavy still then it is no big problem, I'm afraid I can't remember much more than that.
