Wow i havent been on this site since myfirst trimester! So its been a while.

So on Monday October 6th I woke up at 4:30am with contractions. I waited at home till they were about 5 mins apart and that was around 10:30am. Went to the hospital and I was 4 cm. They fed me lunch and at 12:30 they checked and I was 5cm and I was given an epi. I fell asleep until about 4pm and they woke me and checked again and was 7-8 cm. They wanted to speed things up so they broke my water and started me on the drip. The pain was starting to get more intense and at 5pm I had the urge to push, but was not quite 10 cm yet. They kept yelling at me not to push, but I couldnt help it. The doctor was trying to reach in and press the little bit of cervix out of the way, and finally at 5:20 they allowed me to push. I pushe a few times. And with one last giant push accompanied with a blood curdling scream(cause of the pain) Londyn Dawn was born at 5:26pm 7lbs 14oz and 22inches.
