Long cycle help please

Hi Ladies
I'm really hoping some of you can shed some light on what's happening at the moment as I'm really confused.
Let me explain: I gave birth to my daughter on the 21st December and tragically she died from SIDS the next day since then I've not had a a proper cycle. I had a progesterone induced AF at 17 weeks postpartum (pills from my doc) but since then I've had day after day of stringy creamy CM and mostly high (open?) cervical position. I've had no thermal shift (I temp) and I've had ovulation pain on and off the whole time. I've had one session of acupuncture and she suggested that I take Dong quai which I have been.
My husband and I are ready to TTC again but with total lack of ovulation its rather difficult.
I'm really hoping you can give me some advice

Oh hunni I didn't wanna read and run but I think your dr needs to be a bit more proactive in helping you regain normal cycles.. there has to be more they can do for you
