Long Cycles... Looking for buddies

Hoping to speak to anyone who has long cycles. My cycle length is 40 days on average.

I am indeed and I always symptom spot it's the law! only the usual though funny twinges etc. but I always get those I usually start spotting about 10 or 11 dpo so if that doesn't happen il get excited! In saying that I didn't bd at all around the important time (hubby isn't well) so it would be a miracle but they do happen!!! X

Lol @ the law. Im feeling very different this cycle. Not sure if its due to the start of spring or maybe my hormones are getting back to normal since the MC. I normally have bad acne b4 AF but i already had acne during OV & now its cleared up. My boobs are starting to hurt a lil, right on queue for AF. & Im feeling bloated. Its CD36 now. Sigh.

Your temps are looking good.

I take my temp orally. Have had blocked sinuses the past week so not sure exactly how accurate my temps are as I've been sleeping with my mouth open.
I need to wake up early tomorrow too

PS what type of dog do you own?

I have two dogs, a male border collie and a female blue cattle. They are almost 3.

As a pet owner, do you worry about telling your dog that a baby may be coming? I told my collie everyday that there was a baby in my tummy. When I miscarried, he really helped me get through it.

I can't wait for them to have a new little friend to look after

He's a jack Russell but a very big one lol. And yes we do all the time in fact the three of us were sat on the sofa yesterday talking to him and saying how one day he will be a big brother! Lol crazy isn't it. But they do bring so much comfort it's amazing how they know when you are upset x

Hi ladies

I have long cycles too - they suck. And they're never the same anymore, so I don't even know what days they're on. Last one was 80+ days before I had to take provera, now I am on CD36 and I may be taking the provera again.

I do love that yall are dog people as well We have 3, and they're my world. My oldest dachshund is disabled and has to wear diapers - so he's like my baby. I love him and I promise him all the time that when we have a baby, he will be treated no differently than he is now and there is no reason to be jealous He just looks at me like I'm crazy ... but I know he has to understand me after me talking to him for the last 5 years LOL

Omg hatchi nearly killed me! The saddest film I think I've ever seen. And I didn't like his mummy! Making him live in a shed like that evil woman. And the end! Omg the end if you haven't already seen it you now don't need to as I've probably ruined it! x

So this cycle is a but for me. Had some spotting yesterday and temp took another dive today so fully expect af within the next 2 days oh well onwards and upwards. I have a doctors appointment on thurs as me and dh have just had our first round of bloods and sa done so praying a referral will make the af a little easier to swallow this month x

When will u ovulate next? Im a bit worried about next cycle as its close to a trip im due to take with my SIL's. Its only for two nights but very close to fertile time eipppp.

Nope ... never had any O symptoms at all .... if I have ever ovulated, I have never felt or known it.

Ohhh I loveeeeee Marley & Me, and Lady & The Tramp - those are two of my favorites! I've never heard of Hatchi! I'll look that one up

I can never tell I ov between cd16 and cd24 so for me every cycle is a wait and see. It happens when it happens so wish it was more predictable x

Ladies, do u not get EWCM? Thats the biggest sign. I get that and a bit of ovulation cramping. The past three cycles, my boobs were a bit tender & i got some pimples.

Ladies, OMG AF showed. This means my cycle is 37 days. 37 down from 41. Even though I have AF I'm in such a good mood today (how long will this last haha). I hope I have a shorter cycle this upcoming cycle. Fingers crossed.

Hi ladies. I am new to this site. I just need some women to vent to about these long cycles. Im currently on CD 39 and am having some cramping. I am hoping its my pd coming so i can try again next cycle. This is my 4th cycle actively trying and its been about a year and a half off of BC. The first two months i took vitex pills and they made my cycles 20 days long!! so i stopped taking them and last cycle was 25 and now im on 39. lol Im thinking about buying clearblue FM and using EPO for the next cycle.
