Hey ladies!

My DH and I have been TTC for 5 cycles. Doesn't sound like much at first, but those 5 cycles have spanned over 2 years. My current cycle going on 129 days.

I went to my doctor, he ran blood tests and I received an ultrasound. Everything came back fine.

In June he referred me to an infertility specialist but the appointment isn't until December.

My question for the lady's who have gone through/went through something similar is, what is/was the ultimate cause of your struggle to conceive?

Hi,

I am still going through my tests but by now it seems to be my AMH wich is very low. We have been NTNP/ TTC for 6 years.

We have been TTC for the past 2 years and this February I was diagnosed with PCOS.

I have PCOS and endometriosis on my fallopian tubes. Ovalation was close to never.

My boyfriend has an old sports injury.

And after two years of trying and then suddenly not trying, I'm pregnant.

My DH and I have been TTC for 14 months. I know my signature explains most of it, but we are hoping a uterine polyp was the cause of our problems.

Blocked tubes. I got one open but nothing has happened in the 6 months the tube has been opened. Been trying since 2010. Praying for God's mercy and strength as I possibly have to conquer another holiday season with no belly and no baby.

We've been trying for 10 years with unexplained infertility.

Long cycles are frustrating, but your doctor can give you a medication to make your period start and clomid to keep it at a normal length. If anything it will at least make your ovulation predictable and give you a better shot at conceiving :)

ntnp for 1 year, ttc started in March 2012. Given the title of "unexplained" - bloods, lap & dye, SA, and monthly ultrasounds all show we're good to go but it just doesn't seem to be happening.

I have PCOS and DH suffers from anxiety and cannot ejaculate in me. Solved with a few tries at at home artificial insemination. Took 3 years but we got there. It does happen, even when there's no hope left. Xxx

This will be my 13th cycle TTC. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS.

Been trying since 2009... had 3 mmc between 2010-2011 but no BFP since then. Unexplained as of yet. DH has perfect SA, My TSH is slightly high but that's all we've found so far.

I have been ttc for nearly 2 yrs. I have endometriosis and partially blocked tube.

I have been off BCP since July and have not cycled my husband and I both knew going into this TTC session it would be a long haul. Had a miscarriage in December 2007, found out and lost baby in same day 3 months along:-( Then about 2 years ago decided to TTC had all the tests and did try but when the dr started talking about clomide (sp) I freaked and we decided to wait. So here we are again and this time committed all the way, we know it is going to be a long haul to get pregnant (but also open to the possibility of a miracle happing!) We are seeing a new dr, Monday have an apt actually! But from the last time was diagnosis of PCOS and a problem with my cervix that is doesn't close all the way...that is why we lost the baby last time. At the last TTC time the drs said to be encouraged we were able to get pregnant that is a good sign. Looking to connect with other women who have had extended TTC times and also lost babies to miscarriages.

We've been trying since April 2012, but I only ovulated during three of those cycles. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and I've started Metformin. We're also trying Clomid again.

Hi, girls I just want to update. I am tww at the moment and waiting for our next appointment with the doctor at 12 November. GL to all of you.xxx

Dottiee, I am surprised that your blood tests and scans came as fine while you have 129 day cycles. this is definitely an issue. I am sorry I am not going to be much help as my cycles are on the short side but your long cycle may indicate ovulation and hormonal problems. How do you know when you ovulate? Do you use OPK (probably quite expensive with such long cycles)

we have been TTC 3.5 years with low sperm count.

We have been TTC for a little over 3 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS and am now actively working with a new OBGYN and start my first cycle of Clomid tomorrow! #HopingForBFPByChristmas!

Hi ladies. I am so very blessed to have a beautiful 3 year old that was easily conceived. We have been ttc #2 for 18 months now. While pregnant with #1 I had breast cancer and the chemotherapy I needed attacks the immature eggs in the ovaries. My AMH is now undetectable. Used oral meds for 3 months with no luck. The following cycle got a BFP but miscarried. Back to the meds next cycle.

sprinkling a little baby dust for us all
:dust:

I don't know when or if I ovulate :(

The first 2 cycles of TTC (which lasted almost a year) I used an OPK every 3 days, which got way to expensive. Every OPK came up negative. We just BD every day or every other day and hope for the best.

I've tried charting but because my cycles are so erratic, I never noticed any patterns.. Or any noticeable temp differences.

My CM isn't much help either. I haven't had anything but thick white CM for a year, except a few days ago when I finally got EWCM on CD 11 (I freaked out and we BD'd immediately). Now I'm on CD 15 and I spotted a little, which is very unusual for me. Maybe this cycle will be a normal length for once.

Edit: AF came on CD 132 after a faint BFP

Hello Ladies,

Thought I would come back and update. I got my official DX of PCOS on Nov 19th...it was hard to hear but I have an awesome Dr. and she has me on my first round of Provera to get me a period so I can at least start keeping track of cycles. Hopefully Provera jumpstarts my body and I will get periods on my own each month but if not my Dr. will have me doing Provera every other month. Thinking of waiting until June/July before we add either Clomid or Metformin but then after reading around here it seems like it takes three or more cycle on either or both before a BFP...any input on that?

Any experience with Provera?

Blessings & Babydust,
