Has anyone had symptoms of preterm labor/pressure really early on (I am 18 weeks), and gone on to carry your baby full term? I need hope. Every morning I wake up, I feel like its going to be a miracle if this baby doesn't come super early :( I have already had a stillborn son at 37 weeks, and my second baby came early at 35+5, so to say I am scare is a major understatement.

You need to see your dr hun, there are things they can do, progesterone supplements and bed rest and so many different things. That being said I often feel like my water will break or baby will just fall out, this is my second (to get this far) and never felt like this with dd . But PLEASE see your dr if you are feeling like this, the stress will only make things much much worse!!!!

I'm kind of surprised they don't have you taking 17P shots. My last came at 35+0 and they had me start doing them at 16 weeks. I would ask your doctor if it's an option for you (18 weeks is still plenty of time to start them). They're the best prevention for preterm labor available right now.

That being said, some days I have a lot more pressure than others, and that can be normal, especially in a subsequent pregnancy. If your cervix is not changing, and you're not having consistent or frequent contractions, there's no reason to worry right now. It will only make you more stressed. :hugs:

Sorry guess I didn't mention enough. I am on Makena shots every week. I have severe pubic bone and pelvic girdle pain though, daily.

Oh, good! I've heard so many amazing stories about the success of Makena/17P shots! :flower:

As for the pelvic girdle pain, can you get a chiropractic adjustment or an appointment with a physical therapist?

Are you on bedrest? Were all sorts of infections ruled out? Bladder, BV etc.? That's all I can think of.
I had pretty painful contractions due to a bladder and kidney infection. When it was "only" a bladder infection doctors would not hear me and kept sending me away. Urine stix came back almost negative because I was drinking so much water and they tested me in the afternoon. So I self tested with concentrated morning urine at home and boom..infection.
