looped bowel

Im currently 37+3 weeks.At my 20 week scan it was noticed that the baby had a prominent fluid filled looped bowel. I have been getting scanned regularly and each time been reasurred that the loop has not grew (which is good sign) and that baby is growing well (pretty much bang on average at each scan). Anyay, last week at 36 weeks I was scanned and few days later received lketter to go in this monday (will be 38 weeks) for another scan. I phoned consultants receptionist to ask reasoning and she explained that my amniotic fluid levels have went from 2 6cm (deepest pool) to 9.5 cm (deepest pool) . I am now very anxious about the forthcoming scan/delivery and post delivery. Has anyone ever had similar experience who could shed any light. Im hoping on monday il get change to speak with consultant to get answers.feeling like im so close to D day and still very clueless about what this looped bowel could mean for baby :-/ thanks
