You may recall my post about chromosome testing. We got initial results back after 3 months and then had to be tested ourselves. My question is how.long did it take for your results to come back? We are 7 weeks down the line and still waiting!

We had the blood taken in the January from us (as we got F's results back early Jan) and it must have been about 2 months (certainly no longer than 3 months) as I remember that it was a very long time between us getting the results that it was my fault and actually meeting with the geneticist and genetics counsellor and we saw them in the August.

The nearest hospital to us is also the home of the regional genetics centre for the north of scotland so that may be why we got results back so fast as the blood didn't have to be sent off anywhere. Unfortunately genetic testing does tend to take absolutely aaaaages to get results back.

Thanks, we were told results would take 4 weeks from us which is why I'm getting anxious. Just wondered if yours was any quicker.
