Lovely Brown Discharge

So I'm 34 weeks and have developed some brown discharge late today. I haven't had it before and I'm on pelvic rest (unfortunately!) so it's not from sex. I did have my cervix checked yesterday but it normally doesn't cause discharge for me. I'm only 1.5 cm dialated which is normal for a singleton pregnancy at this stage and awesome for a twin pregnancy (my cervix of steel carrying 10 lbs of babies!)

Has anyone else had this? Have you gone into labor soon? I'm trying to hold these monsters in for another 2 weeks so now I'm worried.

Could it be part of your plug?
I mean ive read that the discharge you get before going into labour is usually lighter and watery.
Although im no expert Lol
I hope it isnt labour signs though

I would say this could be from your cervix being checked. The dr could have just touched something slightly to cause some spotting. If it's brown, then it's fine, they say. I've had this with my checks as well, it always let up after a day or two and was never very much.

i am going to guess it is from the exam too. i sure hope so! you need to do more of nothing and take it easy. with both of my previous babies, i never blead at all, no plug lose, nothing. so not much help there. xoxo
