Hi All,

I have never written one of these before but they seem a good way to talk about things with other people who are going through the same thing. So I have had 3 miscarriages in the last year and a half and went for all my tests about three months ago. All the NHS one's came back fine but I thought I would also get an AMH done as my mum had a menopause at 37 and I am 35. It was under 2 - very low - unfertile. I was totally gutted and started to look into my options of donor eggs and IVF. However when I had a scan she said my ovaries had not shrunk yet and she counted 10 folicles with one about to mature. So we went home and got to it. I am now 5 weeks pregnant and sway from feeling elated :happydance:to totally worried sick :argh:. I know my chances of going all the way are reduced as it is likely I have poor quality but is there a chance? Has anyone else experienced what i am going through. Everything seems so conflicting?

Hi,

You posted in the wrong forum so I have moved this for you nd hopefully some of the ladies will reply now.

:D

Thankyou wobbles much appreciated. I think the closer I get to 8 weeks the more worried I get. Really need some success stories to keep me going.

I did do one of those clear blue digital tests today and it is 3+ weeks which is right for my current stage but I just don't seem to stop stressing.

On the one hand I am worried about getting excited incase I don't make it past 8 weeks again but on the other I think you should enjoy it even if it is short lived becasue how many times do you get to make a baby and it's such a happy time for most people.

I have an early scan on the 18th Jan due to my history. I should be about 7+2by then so fingers crossed it has a strong heart beat.

Does anyone know what the heart beat rate should be at this stage?

Thanks
