Nowadays paints are 'low fume/ low odor' how did you manage to get your baby bedrooms done. Did you paint with mask, or did hubby/BF paint for you? Did you leave the house while said painting was going on? What are the risks of inhaling paint fumes if a room is being painted????

Also to add to this, where I work is doing construction with primer and painting, and sanding on my floor, I smelling this every day I come into work :(

We both did a lot of work on the room together. I am better at painting (!) however I did buy a proper vapour gas mask, not just one of those flimsy paper things. This is a link to they mask I got. OH used to call if my darth vader mask due to the noises when breathing!! It was excellent, no smells or anything come through.

this is uk site but I am sure there will be something similar (3M paint vapour mask)

Thanks for the input :) My husband is not much of a painter, and I am, so I wanted to do as much as I could but without harm to the baby with fumes and such.
