Anyone else in the same boat? :hugs:

First, I want to say good luck to you and your DH and hopefully you get your bundle of joy soon. My wife and I have been trying for almost a year with no luck. We both found out we had fertility issues over the process. She was put on Clomid and began ovulating but we still were not able to conceive. I took a Semen Analysis a couple months ago and the numbers were horrible. They were so bad, the Reproductive Endocrinologist took my wife off of clomid and told us that our only chance of conceiving was IVF or a donor since I had low sperm(500k), low motility(15%), and 0 morphology. It was a tough time for us but I did a lot of research on forums and online to see if this could be reversed and the RE suggested seeing a Urologist. Before I took a 2nd SA, I tried a bunch of methods to try to boost my counts. I took a men's multivitamin, 2000mg of Vitamin C, eating bananas, dark chocolate, drank more water, and I was notorious for putting my laptop directly on my lap so I definitely stopped that as well. I did this for about 2 weeks prior to my 2nd analysis and still doing this currently. When I met with the Urologist about 2 weeks after the 2nd analysis to see if there is hope, he informed me that my counts have improved tremendously. They were not great but they significantly higher than the 1st test. He conducted a scrotal exam to see if there was damage/trauma to my testes and then ordered 2 exams to check for varicocele and a blood test to check for low testosterone and hormonal issues. I just got word yesterday that I do not have varicocele or blockage to my testes but I do have low testosterone and have been prescribed clomid. I have a follow up in 6-weeks to see if it works but I am feeling hopeful and my wife and I are feeling hopeful that things can work out for us. I hope this helps you and your husband with some things to try. I'm rooting for you both and God bless.
