So, this is the issues we're facing between us.
Has any one experienced these, had you managed to conceive naturally, or did you need to have assisted treatment?

We have an appointment on Thursday, a discussion of a referral mentioned.

Sperm count 14 mil / ml
Motility 5%
Progesterone (me) was last tested 2.3 but may have been too early, but day 3 reading was <1. So it did not increase anywhere near enough.

Did you have your progesterone drawn on CD 21 or 7 DPO? Because that is VERY low and indicative of no ovulation. Most doctors want to see it at LEAST 10 after ovulation on a non-medicated cycle, and above 15 on a medicated cycle. Mine was 10 last cycle which they told me is borderline low and they are giving me progesterone suppositories when I get a BFP again. I HAVE heard of women with it as low as 5.9 conceiving OK.

I'm dealing with DH having a low sperm count and low morphology (sperm count is 17 million, morphology is 25%). I have him on Maca Root 2000 mg a day and Fertility Blend every day. He was on those in the summer last year when we conceived our angel babies, so we are pretty sure it did the job. Might be worth looking into :) One big thing that worries me is 5% motility is VERY low. Is he going to see a urologist to figure out what's up? In the mean time it wouldn't hurt him to be on extra vitamins <3

Good luck!

My 2.3 was drawn on CD25 (normal cycle is 31 days, this last one was 38).
Yep 5% is how motility - its like a huge kick in the guts. I've put so much effort into getting pregnant, almost a year since I started folic acid, had my vaginal swabs done, keeping an eye on my cycles etc, he's done barely anything and seems not phased by the lack of movement.
We see our doctor tomorrow, a referral to the specialist will probably be made then.

I'm not sure we will fall pregnant on our own between us with such low results, and if we do I am not sure it will remain for long :(

I'm sorry to read this. I don't have anything constructive to offer but wanted to wish you luck.

Oh you CAN fall pregnant with low anything, but it certainly will be more time consuming, take longer and ultimately you'll face more disappointment.

You may want to look into At Home Artificial Insemination. Basically it includes everything you need, you put the catheter past your cervix and dump DH sperm right where it should be getting too, and it wont have to struggle it's way up. Just a thought :)

Ok, so that sounds like a good time for it to have been drawn. Mine was drawn at 8 DPO (CD25). You may need Clomid or Femara to help you ovulate as that number definitely sounds like an-ovulation to me (not an expert, but from everything I've read about progesterone levels they would have to be much higher to confirm ovulation). And I totally get the kick in the guts. It CAN happen naturally (all it takes is one swimmer), but it is much much harder. Hopefully the specialist can help you guys out! <3 Lots of baby dust to you!

Hey, just wanted to wade in on this. My OH has low SC etc because of an operation he had when he was a child. He hasn't been tested for a few years though so we are going to do that. I have just come to the conclusion that I may have low progesterone because I spot for 4 days before AF comes on full flow, do you have that problem? I have endometriosis so who knows what's really going on inside me!

Wishing you lots of luck and :dust: I would love to be able to achieve pregnancy naturally but not sure it's going to be possible.
